Consumption of vodka in Europe is set to rise to €1.2 billion by 2026, up from €1.2 billion in 2021. From 2016 to 2021, demand has grown by 0.6% each year. Poland is the biggest market for vodka, with sales of €626 million in 2021. Germany, Spain, and Romania came in second, third and fourth respectively. Germany's vodka consumption rose by 2.2% annually, while Estonia's fell by 8.1% over the same period. Sales of vodka in Europe are set to drop to 247 million liters of pure alcohol by 2026, a decrease of 0.1% year-on-year. From 2017 to 2021, the market fell by 0.5% annually. Poland was the largest market for vodka sales in 2021, with 99 million liters of pure alcohol. France, Germany, and Italy were the next biggest markets. Austria's vodka sales rose by 75.1%, while Denmark's decreased by 38.7% from 2017 to 2021.
