Vodka consumption across Europe is set to decline over the next five years. According to market analysts, demand for the beverage will drop from €41.1 million in 2020 to €36.5 million by 2026. This represents an average decline of 2.3% year on year. Germany, Spain and Romania ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in 2020. Lithuanian vodka sales are also set to decline, from 6.8 million liters of pure alcohol in 2021 to 6.5 million by 2026. This equates to a 0.9% year on year average rate of decline since 2005. The Netherlands ranked in front of Lithuania in 2021, with 8.3 million liters of pure alcohol. France, Germany and Italy ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
