Romanian poultry meat consumption is predicted to reach 410,000 metric tons by 2026. This would be a rise of 0.3% on average each year since 2021, when 403,000 metric tons were consumed. Since 2017, demand has grown by 2.3% annually. The United Arab Emirates was the top consumer in 2021 with 403,000 metric tons, followed by the United States, Brazil and Russia. Meanwhile, Romanian poultry meat production is expected to hit 514,780 metric tons by 2026. This represents an average yearly increase of 1% since 2021, when 485,000 metric tons were produced. Since 2017, supply has grown at a rate of 0.4% annually. Bolivia led the way in 2021 with 485,000 metric tons, followed by China, Brazil and Russia.
