Since 2017, Dane demand increased by 0.4% every year. Bulgaria overtook Denmark in 2021, with 157,000 metric tonnes. The United States, Brazil and Russia ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Danish poultry meat production is forecast to reach 152,670 metric tonnes by 2026, a 0.1% yearly decrease since 2021, when the country had 154,000 metric tonnes. Since 2017, Dane supply has declined by 0.4% each year. Ireland was ahead of Denmark in 2021, with 154,000 metric tonnes. China, Brazil and Russia ranked second, third and fourth in this ranking.
