Spain, the US and Greece were the top three in terms of consumption. Egypt's production of olive oil is forecast to reach 42,200 tonnes in 2026, up 3.4% from 34,500 tonnes in 2021. Since 2006, production has grown 10.4% annually. The country ranked 10th in 2021, behind Argentina. Greece, Italy and Tunisia were the top three in terms of production.
