Consumption of olive oil in Chile is projected to reach 5,080 metric tons by 2026, a drop of 2.6% from the 6,000 metric tons recorded in 2021. Since 2017, demand has remained relatively stable. Chile ranked 36th in 2021, with Poland topping the list at 6,000 metric tons, followed by Spain, the United States, and Greece. Chilean olive oil production, meanwhile, is forecast to reach 31,010 metric tons by 2026, an increase of 3.4% from the 25,350 metric tons recorded in 2021. Since 1966, supply has grown at an average annual rate of 7.3%. Chile ranked 12th in 2021, with Egypt surpassing it at 25,350 metric tons, followed by Greece, Italy, and Tunisia.
