Taiwan's olive oil consumption is on the rise. It is projected to reach 8.01 thousand metric tons by 2026, up 2.3% year-on-year. This follows a period of stagnation since 2017. In 2021, Taiwan was the 33rd largest consumer of olive oil, with 7 thousand metric tons. New Zealand overtook the country in the ranking with the same amount. Spain, the United States, and Greece ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
