Croatia's olive oil production is set to hit 3,270 metric tons by 2026, growing 1.9% year on year. Since 1997, Croatian production has increased by 10.9% annually. In 2021, Croatia ranked 22nd, with Cyprus claiming the top spot at 2,920 metric tons. Greece, Italy, and Tunisia followed in second, third, and fourth place. Croatian olive oil consumption also experienced an increase in 2018, reaching 3,000 metric tons. This was an improvement from 2017, with Croatia coming in 48th place, Finland taking the lead at 3,000 metric tons. Spain, the United States, and Greece followed in second, third, and fourth place.
