The United States, Spain, and Greece are the top three global consumers, in that order. Meanwhile, olive oil production in Cyprus is forecasted to reach 3,970 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average rate of 2.1% year on year since 1966. This places the country 21st in the global rankings, with France leading in production with 3,510 metric tons in 2021. Greece, Italy, and Tunisia are the next three countries in the rankings.
