Norwegian exports of sparkling wines are expected to total nearly $286 million by 2026, a decrease of 0.6% per year on average since 2021. Since 1998, Norwegian production has grown by an average of 2.1% annually. In 2021, Norway ranked 55th, with Sri Lanka overtaking it with exports of $297 million. Italy, Spain and Singapore were the top three exporters in that year. Norwegian imports of sparkling wines are forecast to reach $79.3 million by 2026, with an average growth rate of 2.6% per year since 2021. Since 1998, demand for Norwegian sparkling wines has risen 4.8% annually. In 2021, Denmark led the way with imports of $68.1 million, followed by the United Kingdom, Japan and Germany.
