Italian sparkling wine exports are predicted to reach $2.4 billion by 2026, a 3.3% year-on-year increase from 2021's total of $1.9 billion. Since 1999, exports of Italian sparkling wine have grown 8.5% annually. Italy took second place in 2021, behind France's $1.9 billion, with Spain and Singapore in third and fourth respectively. Italian sparkling wine imports are projected to reach $234 million by 2026, a 1.2% year-on-year rise from 2021's $217 million. Since 1999, imports of Italian sparkling wine have risen 5.6% annually. In 2021, Australia led the way with $217 million, followed by the United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany.
