Global demand for sparkling wine is set to reach almost $8 billion by 2026, according to a recent report. This is 1.4% greater than in 2021 and a 4.7% jump from 2017. The United States led the charge in sparkling wine import in 2021, accounting for $1.4 billion. The United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany followed close behind. The Central African Republic saw the most significant growth at 52.2%, while Pakistan experienced a 37% decrease since 2017. Global supply of sparkling wine is also set to reach almost $8.4 billion by 2026, with a 1.5% year-on-year growth rate. This is a 5.4% increase since 2017. France led the way in sparkling wine export in 2021, at $3.9 billion. Italy, Spain, and Singapore followed in the rankings. Tanzania saw the highest growth rate at 283.9%, while Indonesia saw the largest decrease at 72.4%.
