Sweden is set to become a major player in the sparkling wine market. Exports of the beverage are projected to grow 2.8% annually, reaching nearly $6.3 million by 2026. Since 1997, the country's supply of sparkling wine has grown 9.2% each year. In 2021, Sweden was the 26th largest exporter of the beverage, behind Ukraine's $5.3 million. Italy, Spain, and Singapore ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, imports of sparkling wine into Sweden are set to reach $207 million by 2026, growing 3% annually. Since 1997, demand has jumped 7.9% each year. In 2021, the country was the 12th largest importer, behind Canada's $171 million. The United Kingdom, Japan, and Germany came in second, third, and fourth, respectively.
