Imports of Dutch sparkling wine are expected to reach nearly $148 million by 2026, up 1.6% year-on-year. This is an increase of 6.8% since 1997. In 2021, the Netherlands was the 13th largest importer of sparkling wine, with Sweden ahead with $132.3 million. The United Kingdom, Japan and Germany followed in second, third and fourth place. Exports of Dutch sparkling wine are expected to reach $114 million by 2026, a 2.9% annual growth rate. This is an increase of 11% since 1997. In 2021, the Netherlands was the sixth largest exporter of sparkling wine, with Germany ahead at $94.5 million. Italy, Spain and Singapore followed in second, third and fourth place.
