Demand for sparkling wine in the United Arab Emirates is set to exceed $106 million by 2026. This represents a 2.3% year-on-year growth rate from 2021's total of $93 million. Since 2012, Emirati demand has jumped 21.6% annually. In 2021, France overtook the UAE as the largest importer of sparkling wine, with $93 million, followed by the United Kingdom, Japan and Germany. Meanwhile, Emirati sparkling wine exports are expected to reach $620,000 by 2026, down 32.8% from the 2021 figure of $5.3 million. Since 2012, UAE supply has risen 22.5% year-on-year. In 2021, Sweden overtook the UAE in exports, with $5.3 million, followed by Italy, Spain and Singapore.
