Mushroom production in China is on the rise and is set to reach 11 million metric tons by 2026, according to a recent report. From 2021 to 2026, the mushroom supply is projected to grow at an average of 2.3% each year. This increase follows a 4.1% average annual growth since 1966. Japan, the United States and Poland are the top three countries in terms of mushroom production, following China in first place.
