Slovak mushroom production is set to reach around 2.4 million metric tons by 2026, up from 2.2 million in 2021. This is an annual growth rate of 1.3%. Since 1998, the supply of Slovak mushrooms has grown at a rate of 1.4% each year. In 2021, Slovakia was the 36th largest producer, behind Madagascar at 2.2 million metric tons. Japan, the United States and Poland were the top three producers, respectively.
