Mushroom production in Belarus is set to increase steadily over the next five years. In 2021, the country produced 25,950 metric tons of mushrooms, putting them in 20th place globally. This is a 20.7% increase compared to 2003. Belgium currently leads the global rankings with a production of 25,950 metric tons, closely followed by Japan, the United States, and Poland in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively. By 2026, Belarus is expected to produce 33,100 metric tons of mushrooms – a 4.1% year-on-year average rate of growth.
