Vietnamese processed fish imports are expected to increase to 1.7 million kilograms over the next five years. The demand for Vietnamese products has grown by 14 percent since 2005. Italy, France and Spain rank second, third, and fourth respectively in terms of import levels. Meanwhile, Vietnamese processed fish exports are anticipated to reach 15.5 million kilograms by 2026, growing at a rate of 2.2 percent annually since 2021. Thailand, Slovenia, and Spain are the next in line, following Vietnam in terms of export levels. Since 2005, the supply of Vietnamese fish has increased by 2.1 percent on an annual basis.
