Chilean oyster imports and exports saw a major decrease in 2021. Imports totalled 14.1 kilograms, a 93.9% drop from 230.29 kilograms in 2020. The demand has fallen 61.8% since 1996. Exports also experienced a decrease, with 3,320 kilograms in 2019, a 41% drop from 5,620 kilograms in 2018. Despite this drop, supply has increased 2.5% since 1996.
