German demand for oysters is projected to fall slightly over the next five years. The import of oysters into Germany is expected to decrease by 0.6% year on year on average, from 656,000 kilograms in 2021 to 632,000 kilograms in 2026. This would mark a 4.3% decrease since 1996. Meanwhile, the export of oysters from Germany is expected to rise 2.4% year on year on average, from 74,000 kilograms in 2021 to 85,000 kilograms in 2026. This would represent a 4.8% increase since 1996.
