Spanish oyster imports are expected to drop 4.5% year on year, from 1.9 million kilograms in 2021 to 1.4 million kilograms in 2026. This is a continuation of a downward trend since 1994, when imports were 13.5% lower than they are now. Exports of Spanish oysters are forecast to decrease 12.6% year on year, from 151,700 kilograms in 2021 to 70,720 kilograms in 2026. This follows a 17.2% decrease in supply since 1994.
