Belgian imports of oysters are projected to drop significantly by 2026, with a 6.3% year-on-year CAGR from 2021 to 2026. This is a stark contrast to 2004 when imports were 10.1% higher than the previous year. Exports of oysters from Belgium, however, are set to grow by a much more modest rate of 0.8% year-on-year CAGR from 2021 to 2026. This is still an improvement on the 2004 figures when exports were 4.3% higher than the year before.
