Latvian oyster production and exports are set to increase in the coming years. Export of oysters from Latvia is projected to reach 25,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 21,000 kilograms in 2021. This represents a 2.9% year-on-year growth rate since 2006. Meanwhile, imports of oysters into Latvia are expected to reach 70,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 59,000 kilograms in 2021. This is a 3.5% year-on-year growth rate since 1999. Overall, Latvian oyster production and exports are expected to continue to grow in the coming years.
