Maltese lobster imports are set to hit 15,500 kilograms by 2026, growing at an average rate of 3.4% a year. Since 2000, demand has shot up by 23%. In 2021, Malta placed 33rd in the rankings, behind Poland with 12,640 kilograms. China, South Korea and Italy were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
