Finland's imports of lobster are predicted to drop 2.4% year-on-year from 5,460 kilograms in 2021 to 4,730 kilograms by 2026. Since 1993, demand in the country has grown by 0.6% year-on-year. In 2021, Finland was ranked 42nd in terms of imports, but Bulgaria overtook them at 5,460 kilograms. China, South Korea, and Italy came in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. In contrast, Finland's exports of lobster rose dramatically in 2018, from 2 kilograms in 2017 to 4 kilograms in 2018 - a 100% increase. Since 1998, however, exports have dropped 41.5% year-on-year. In 2018, Finland was ranked 52nd in terms of exports, being overtaken by Estonia with 4 kilograms. The United States, United Kingdom, and Philippines placed second, third, and fourth, respectively.
