Portugal's lobster export is projected to hit almost 10,000 kilograms by 2026, according to a new report. That's an average yearly growth of 3.1%, since 1993. In 2021, the country was behind Belize, with 8,210 kilograms, but ahead of the United States, the United Kingdom and the Philippines. Meanwhile, Portugal's lobster import is expected to hit 227,240 kilograms by 2026, at a yearly rate of 2.3%. Again, since 1993, demand has risen 4.9% annually. The country was behind Sweden in 2021, with 198,810 kilograms, but ahead of China, South Korea and Italy.
