The demand for Bulgarian lobster imports is set to reach 6,360 kilograms by 2026, according to a recent report. This marks an average growth rate of 1.2% year-on-year since 2021, when the country imported 5,910 kilograms of lobster. Since 2004, Bulgarian demand has decreased by an average of 3.3% year-on-year. In 2021, the country was ranked 41st in terms of lobster imports, falling behind Hungary, which imported 5,910 kilograms. China, South Korea, and Italy followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
