Thailand saw lobster imports reach 576,000 kilos by 2026, up from 480,000 kilos in 2021. This is a growth rate of 3.1% year on year. Since 1993, Thai demand has grown by 4% annually. In 2021, Thailand ranked 14th, with Germany in the lead at 480,000 kilos. China, South Korea and Italy ranked second, third and fourth respectively. As for exports, Thailand saw a total of 136 kilos in 2018, a drop of 71.4% from 475 kilos in 2017. Since 1994, Thai supply has fallen by 77.9% year on year. In 2018, the Czech Republic surpassed Thailand, with 136 kilos. The US, the UK and the Philippines ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
