Singapore's lobster imports are expected to reach nearly a million kilograms by 2026, up from around 750,000 kilograms in 2021. This equates to an average growth rate of 3.2% year-on-year since 1994. Last year, the country ranked 11th in the world, with Japan leading the way at 750,000 kilograms. China, South Korea and Italy were ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Singapore's lobster exports are also predicted to reach 560,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 421,000 kilograms in 2021. This is a year-on-year compound average growth rate of 4.7% since 1994. In 2021, Singapore ranked ninth globally, with France in first place at 421,000 kilograms. The United States, the United Kingdom and the Philippines were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
