In 2023, Colombia ranked 11th globally in greenhouse gas emissions. Oman surpassed Colombia with emissions also totaling around 74 million metric tons. Leading the rankings were Malaysia, Poland, and Kazakhstan, securing the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
