Since 1965, demand for greenhouse gases in Britain has decreased by 4.1% each year. In 2021, it ranked 16th in the world, behind Australia, which stood at 302.58 million metric tons. The United States, India and Russia respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
