Last year, the country ranked 106th globally with 8.03 million metric tons of emissions. That was just behind Paraguay, which was in 105th place with 8.03 million metric tons. The United States, India, and Russia took the top three spots, respectively. Since 1976, Jamaica's demand for greenhouse gas emissions has increased by an average of 2.3% each year.
