The country currently ranks 113th in the world, with 7.32 million metric tons of emissions in 2021. In comparison, Luxembourg overtook them at 7.32 million metric tons. The United States, India and Russia were the next three highest in the ranking. Since 1976, Salvadoran demand has grown by 1.5% year on year.
