Panama's greenhouse gas emissions are forecast to increase to almost 14 million metric tons by 2026. This marks an annual growth of 2.1% since 1976. Currently, the country ranks 93rd in the global greenhouse gas emissions chart. Cambodia is ahead of Panama with 12.34 million metric tons. The United States, India and Russia are the second, third and fourth highest emitters respectively.
