Ivorian greenhouse gas emissions are set to rise 1.8% year on year, reaching 13 million metric tons by 2026. This is an increase from 11 million metric tons in 2021, when the country was 97th in the world, overtaken by Tanzania. The United States, India and Russia took the top three spots in the ranking. Since 1976, Ivorian demand has grown 3.7% year on year.
