Swiss greenhouse gas emissions are projected to decrease by 1.2% annually, reaching 31.91 million metric tons by 2026. This is a decrease of 2.2% since 1965. In terms of greenhouse gas emissions, Switzerland ranked 65th in 2021, while Bulgaria was ahead with 33.95 million metric tons. The United States, India and Russia ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
