In the global ranking of greenhouse gas emitters for 2023, Cyprus was positioned at number 30. Armenia, with emissions also at about 5.7 million metric tons, edged out Cyprus for the 29th spot. Leading the ranking were Malaysia, Poland, and Kazakhstan, holding the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
