French meat supply has been on a downward trend since 1966, decreasing by 0.6% each year. A notable drop is also observed in a specific segment of French meat production, which is expected to plummet to just 0.1 metric tons by 2028, down from 1 metric ton in 2023. This segment faces a steep annual decline rate of 34%, and has seen an average annual decrease of 12.9% since 1966.
