Since 1982, North Korea's air transport demand has plummeted by 55.3% year-on-year, underscoring the country's ongoing challenges in the aviation sector. In the global ranking for 2021, North Korea fell to the 146th position. Slovakia moved ahead, also recording nine departures. Meanwhile, China, India, and Canada secured the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively, in the same ranking.
