Mozambique's bitumen imports will drop by 9.9% per year, from 1.6 million kilograms in 2021 to just over 900,000 kilograms by 2026. Since 2005, demand for bitumen in the country has risen slowly, by 2.4% annually. In 2021, Mozambique was the 64th-largest importer of the petroleum product, with Indonesia taking the lead at 1.6 million kilograms. Egypt, Oman, and Canada were the next largest importers, at numbers 2, 3, and 4, respectively.
