German Bitumen import is forecast to decline 11.4% year-on-year to 1.95 million kilograms in 2026. This follows a 9.6% decline since 1996. In 2021, Germany was the 36th largest importer, behind Zambia, Egypt, Oman and Canada. German bitumen export fell sharply by 74.9% in 2018 to 286,240 kilograms, compared to 1.14 million kilograms in 2017. This decline follows a 14.3% drop since 1996. Germany was the 42nd largest exporter in 2018, behind Egypt, Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.
