Argentina's import of bitumen is projected to reach around 300,000 kilograms in 2026, up 0.3% annually since 2021. Since 1998, imports have grown by almost 10%. In 2021, Argentina was the 85th largest importer of bitumen, behind Nepal, which imported 288,980 kilograms. Egypt, Oman, and Canada ranked second, third, and fourth in the ranking. In 2018, Argentina's export of bitumen dropped 96.3% to 57,220 kilograms, compared to 1,545,500 kilograms in 2017. Since 1998, exports have decreased by 58.4%. In 2018, Argentina was the 53rd largest exporter of bitumen, after Mauritius, which exported 57,220 kilograms. Belgium, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago ranked second, third, and fourth in the ranking.
