Paraguay's bitumen imports dropped 6.2% in 2018, from nearly 119,000 to about 112,000 kilograms. That was a sharp contrast to the country's demand for bitumen since 1994, which has surged by 137%. Paraguay ranked first in 2018 in terms of imports, with 464 million kilograms. Egypt, Oman and Canada were second, third and fourth in the ranking, respectively.
