The country was number 44 in 2018, with 5,570,000 Kilograms. Oman, Netherlands and Canada respectively were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Barbadian imports of bitumen plummeted by almost 100 percent in 2018, falling from 1.2 million kilograms in 2017 to just 7,940 kilograms. Since 2002, demand for bitumen in Barbados has grown 230 percent. In 2018, the country imported 464.7 million kilograms, making it the world’s number one importer. Egypt, Oman, and Canada came in second, third, and fourth respectively. Barbadian exports of bitumen also decreased dramatically in 2017, dropping from 176,230 kilograms to just 7,230 kilograms, a decrease of 95.9 percent. Since 2003, Barbadian supply has dropped 56.5 percent. In 2018, the country exported 5.57 million kilograms, ranking it 44th in the world. Oman, the Netherlands, and Canada once again took the top three spots.
