Moroccan imports of bitumen are set to plummet by 32% between 2021 and 2026, from nearly 70,000 Kilograms to 8,820 Kilograms. The country has seen an average annual increase of 12% since 1999. In 2021, it was ranked 108th in the world, behind Paraguay's 69,810 Kilograms. Egypt, Oman and Canada followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively. Moroccan bitumen exports fell by a dramatic 90% in 2021, with 22.8 Kilograms compared to 240.04 Kilograms in 2020. Since 2005, there has been an average annual decrease of 44%. In 2021, Morocco ranked 80th in the world, behind Samoa's 22.8 Kilograms. Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
