In 2018, Ghana imported 39.1% less Bitumen compared to 2003. Botswana came in first place with 44 Kilograms, while Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Ghanaian Bitumen imports skyrocketed in 2018, increasing 424.3% from 2017. In 2018, the country was placed 37th in the rankings, with Romania coming in first with 3,749,500 Kilograms. Egypt, Oman and Canada were second, third and fourth respectively. Since 2001, Ghanaian demand had grown by 26.4% year on year.
