Spain's bitumen exports are expected to plunge 38.5% to 134,060 kilograms by 2026, down from 1.75 million kilograms in 2021. Since 1994, the country's supply has dropped by 12.9% a year on average. Bosnia and Herzegovina topped the 2021 rankings, followed by Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago. Meanwhile, Spain's bitumen imports nearly halved in 2018 to 50,230 kilograms, down from 273,880 kilograms the year before. Since 1994, the country's demand has grown by 1.9% annually. Belarus overtook Spain in 2018, with Egypt, Oman and Canada taking the second, third and fourth spots in the rankings.
