Dutch Bitumen Import is expected to drop 3.3% a year until 2026. Imports peaked in 2021 with 21.8 million kilograms, and are projected to fall to 18.2 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1997, the country has seen an average annual growth rate of 10.8%. In 2021, Belgium overtook the Netherlands and came in first with 21.8 million kilograms. Egypt, Oman and Canada followed, ranking second, third, and fourth respectively. Dutch Bitumen Export saw a huge jump of 66.5% in 2018 compared to 2017, reaching 1.6 million kilograms. Since 1997, exports have dropped 6.6% a year on average. In 2018, Brazil topped the rankings with 1.6 million kilograms, followed by Belgium, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago.
