India's bitumen imports decreased by 39.5% in 2021 compared to 2020, hitting 2.29 million kilograms. This marks a 32.2% decrease since 1993. Malta overtook India to take the 55th spot on the list of countries importing bitumen. Egypt, Oman and Canada rounded out the top four. Exports of bitumen from India are expected to total 4.11 million kilograms in 2026, a 4.5% decrease from 2021. This is a 20.7% decrease from 1993. Poland was the leader in 2021, with Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago taking the next three spots.
